I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was perfect - close to downtown shops but away from the touristy area. The view from my balcony was breathtaking, especially during the sunrise. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided was convenient and had a good variety of options, including healthy choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely return on future trips to this city.
No complaints.

It was a quiet and attractive hotel in a lovely area, next to the restaurant, and the Promenade. The venue had an unbeatable location quite a walk from The Leas Promenade. Loved their lounge bar.

I liked the helpfulness of the staff and also the location of the Hotel, the hotel is popular with coachloads of elderly people so the hotel is also good for those who want a quiet kind of holiday, not disruptive. I was luckly to get a spacious twin with a seaview. At a small charge the hotel will also make a lunch for you for when you go out during the day.
Only minor things like the hotel could do with a good lick of paint. One of the curtains got stuck so it couldn't go all the way across. The cooked breakfast could be dry but if you ask they will make sure the egg yoke is runny enough and they are flexible about how guests would like breakfast.

Lovely stay with great views
We spent a night here, and it was awesome! The room was super spacious and clean. Got a fab view of the cliffs and beach. The staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed some cocktails at the bar. Only thing was the parking situation could be a little tight during peak hours.

Hotel appearance a little shabby and dated but room clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly and nice full English breakfast. So what more could you ask for if you just want somewhere to lay your head? We used the Salisbury as attending a wedding at a nearby hotel where one of the guests had paid nearly double that we did for a single room (no breakfast) which she got a refund on as room was so small with polyfiller in the bath!

The hotel was chosen for its proximity to Euro tunnel and was ideal for this purpose. We had no complaints about the staff or the hotel and would use it again for this purpose. We would say it represents good value for money, but this might not be our view if we stayed longer. Our opinion might reflect the fact that the town seemed dead - in high season.
